It's one of our most important assets, and we need someone to take the helm shaping the experience for both new customers and our growing community of subscribers. The role involves leading the overall performance of the ecommerce platform, driving revenue, retention and conversion improvements, delivering customer-centric digital experiences, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and owning the end-to-end subscription experience. It also encompasses platform management, UX, CRO, SEO, LLM, analytics, reporting, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role involves leading the overall performance of the ecommerce platform, driving revenue, retention and conversion improvements, delivering customer-centric digital experiences, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and owning the end-to-end subscription experience. It also encompasses platform management, UX, CRO, SEO, LLM, analytics, reporting, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance of our ecommerce platform, driving revenue, retention and conversion improvements. - Deliver customer-centric digital experiences aligned with brand and business objectives. - Support digital marketing initiatives across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle journeys. - Own and continuously improve the end-to-end subscription experience. - Lead Shopify Plus upgrades and complex integrations. - Manage developers, agencies, and tech partners to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing technical excellence. - Translate business goals into clear technical requirements and project plans. - Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopify storefront, including product setup, management, and content updates. - Partner with design teams to optimise UX/UI, ensuring intuitive navigation, high-performing mobile experiences, and a frictionless checkout. - Run A/B tests and leverage insights to refine user journeys and lift conversion rates. - Apply SEO best practices and foundational LLM/AI knowledge to improve discoverability and personalisation. - Own and optimise the subscription experience across the site, working with subscription, loyalty, rewards and referral platforms to improve retention, customer lifetime value and subscriber satisfaction. - Analyse ecommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, CLV, subscription growth and churn, etc.) and turn data into actionable recommendations. - Continuously monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. - Lead and mentor junior team members across ecommerce, digital merchandising, and digital operations. - Partner with marketing, operations, and projects to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience. - Align stakeholders around ecommerce initiatives, roadmaps, and performance priorities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify Plus stores. - Proven success leading technical migrations, integrations, or large-scale site upgrades. - Strong knowledge of subscriptions, loyalty, rewards, and referral technologies. - Deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, digital merchandising, and customer journey design. - Proficiency with ecommerce analytics tools (GA4, Shopify Analytics, etc.). - Ability to turn data into strategic decisions that drive CRO and revenue growth. - Experience developing or collaborating on dashboards and performance tools. - Excellent leadership, communication and management skills. - Strong attention to detail with a customer-first mindset.
